Ms. Casillas-Rivera supports the firm as a law clerk, where she conducts comprehensive legal research, drafts a variety of legal documents, and assists our attorneys in their duties. Her attention to detail and organizational skills contribute significantly to the smooth execution of day-to-day legal operations.
Ms. Casillas-Rivera is currently in her third year at the University of Puerto Rico School of Law. During her first two years, she volunteered with the LideRex Pro Bono, an organization dedicated to providing immediate disaster relief, and the Derechos de Adolescentes y Menores Pro Bono (DAN). She now serves as Executive Editor for the UPR Law Review and has a particular interest in Bankruptcy, Trusts, Estates, Litigation, and Mediation.
Before joining Coto & Associates, Ms. Casillas-Rivera worked as a Proposal Writer for a non-profit organization, where she successfully secured both state and private funding. She subsequently served as an Assistant Farm Manager, where she was responsible for overseeing the administration, sales, distribution, and production operations of the farm, in addition to organizing and structuring its overall business strategy.
